Portuguese pottery faience in the archaeological intervention at the Monastery of São João de Tarouca


Editorial design developed for the project of the network of monuments, Vale do Varosa, under the auspices of Direção Regional de Cultura do Norte and the Lamego Museum.

A work that aims to be a manual for all researchers and interested parties involved in the study of modern Portuguese ceramics, as it presents the typological study of 2,782 pieces of Portuguese pottery faience that it was possible to identify, consisting of the collage of more than 13,000 fragments, this set being taken as a sample of a more extensive universe, but illustrating the production of Portuguese faience, in one of the largest works of graphic record ever made in Portugal.
