Illustrations that celebrate the city of Porto

Illustrations developed for Marques Soares' Magnitude magazine. These illustrations were created based on the historic and emblematic buildings of the city of Porto, on the editorial page of each edition: n.º 5, n.º 6 and n.º 7.

An iconic company in the North that opened its doors in the city of Porto, at Rua das Carmelitas n.º 92, on November 5, 1960. With a space of 150 m² and 10 employees, the sale was intended only for fabrics for clothing, knitwear and shirting. Today, it has an area of 14,000 m² and 300 employees, divided between the cities of Porto, Braga, Aveiro, Santarém, Beja, Vila Real and Évora.

In addition to clothing, it also has the following sections in its facilities: home textiles, fabrics, tableware and decoration, perfumery, lingerie, shoemaking, leather goods, optics, household appliances, sporting goods, watchmaking and restaurant.

In 1995, Marques Soares was distinguished by the European Foundation For Entrepreneurship Research, as one of the 500 most dynamic companies in Europe.
